as part of　the Museum of Modern Art,

high quality work. The outstanding comfort

“M Chair 301”, which uses banex.

“banex” is next generation fabrics with unique

fabric construction made of special polyester

yarns that offer cushioning effect.

①The chairs are washable, and are quick to dry,

allowing you to always have a clean, sanitary chair.

②The chairs use a light material, even lighter than

Polyurethane foam.

③The chairs don’t emit any harmful gases

when burned.

④The chairs use a cloth cushion (3mm thick)

for a sleek look with comfort.

⑤The chairs are resistant to light and heat,

and they exhibit superb elasticity recovery.

Banex exhibits superb comfort by the use of adequate

elasticity, and a mechanism to efficiently disperse

body pressure.The mesh fabric allows the chairs to

Banex is a world renown special fabric that is used in car seats, train seats, as well as wheel chair seats. The Banex is known for the superb comfort it offers as well as durability.

Warnings on the use of Mchair

The Mchair is constructed to be used mainly indoors. It is useable outdoors, however, there is no guarantee on the longevity. The seat is made of polyester so rain should not affect it , however, acid rain may cause deterioration. The frame is made of stainless steel so it should not rust, however, that will depend on the environment. There is a customer who has been leaving his chair out for 4years on his balcony. The first part to deteriorate was the painting on the wooden parts. The frame deteriated as well, but there was no visible deteriation of the material or colour. Even direct sunlight hit the chair, however, the material has slightly hardend.You are free to use the chair outdoors, however, we are not responsibile for any damage caused by using the chair outdoors.You can order parts individually from japan if any of the parts become damaged.
