Light planes

Yoshida Light Planes

Everybody probably wished at one point
to have the ability to fly freely in the sky like a bird.

Yoshida allows you to experience
this with their flying model aircraft's,
also known as light planes.

These light planes have been around in Japan
ever since the late 1800's,
an astounding 120 year old history.

These planes fly by winding the elastic band
to move the propellers.

Back in the late 1800's,
many kids had competitions on which planes will fly longer.

These planes are technically advanced,
using Japanese washi for its wings.

Washi is a unique paper developed by the Japanese.

It is renown worldwide for its durability, and beauty.

Light planes are not only a traditional children's toy,
adults around the world enjoy it as well.

There are many competitions worldwide
that compete light planes based on their aerial flight time.

These light planes will surely wake up your inner child.
